Harnessing Rapid Growth - DIGITAL

Asia contains some of the most exciting and vital cities in the world, characterized by substantial opportunities created by rapid growth. Throughout the region, local and global practitioners and researchers are doing some of their best work. There are projects and plans of enormous scale and ambition, completed and planned, at the cutting edge of design, which channel the entrepreneurial spirit of their citizens into a higher quality of life, tackling the challenges the rapid growth of population and development. 

In December 2024, CTBUH convened more than 200 professionals, engaging with the dynamic leaders at the forefront of these transformations at the Asia Conference in Bangkok. This volume contains a summary of that pivotal event, as well as select papers by its presenters. Through this collection, an illustrative encapsulation of the exciting development environment emerges, delivering on the Council’s core mission of disseminating best-practice information to and for the world’s city-makers.
