The CTBUH Online Shop is an extension of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), a non-profit organization focused on the inception, design, construction, and operation of tall buildings and future cities. The proceeds from each online sale benefits the goals and programs of the CTBUH.

Members

Individual, Retired, Academic, and Student Members receive 10% discount on all CTBUH publications. Corporate and Organizational Members (Supporting Contributor, Patron, Donor, Contributor, Participant, University, and Media) receive a 20% discount on all CTBUH publications.

Ordering Information

CTBUH Members should be in possession of their CTBUH online account details which allows them to order online and automatically factors in the CTBUH member discount. If you are a member of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat and have not received your member login name and password, please contact us. If you are a first time visitor ordering from us, we ask that you create an account which allows for processing of the order. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Shipping Methods and Delivery Time

The CTBUH uses the shipping services of the United States Postal Service (USPS) and FedEx. We ship internationally. Delivery speed will vary based on selected Shipping Method.

United States Domestic Shipping
Priority Mail Express: usually 1-2 business days with tracking and $100 insurance
Priority Mail: usually 2-3 business days with tracking and $50 insurance
FedEx Priority Overnight: guaranteed 1 business day with tracking
FedEx 2nd Day: guaranteed 2 business days with tracking

International Shipping
FedEx International Priority: guaranteed 1-3 business day delivery with tracking
FedEx International Economy: guaranteed within 5 business day delivery with tracking
Priority Mail Express International: 3-5 business days with tracking to customs or destination (varies by location)
Priority Mail International: 6-10 business days with tracking to customs or destination (varies by location)

All orders will be sent out within two business days after payment is received, excluding weekends and holidays. Business days are Monday through Friday, with the following exceptions: New Year’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Please note that Saturdays and Sundays are not delivery or transit days for USPS, but domestic FedEx deliveries are made on Saturdays.

Taxes

All orders shipped within the state of Illinois will be charged a 10.25% Chicago sales tax. Orders shipped outside the state will not be charged tax. If you are a school or other institution and have an Illinois tax exempt number, please contact us for further information.

For questions and/or information about an order you have already placed, please contact us.

Returns / Damaged Goods

If you receive merchandise that has been damaged during shipment, please contact us. Include your name, address, and order number. A replacement will be shipped to you as soon as possible. You will also receive instructions on what to do with the damaged merchandise. Otherwise, returns/exchanges are not accepted.

Refunds

All approved refunds will be subject to a processing fee.

Security

The CTBUH uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to protect your online shopping and account information. The shopping cart and account pages feature SSL encryption, which secures your personal information.
